Life is funny,
or sad,
how things tend to fall away
to leave room for new.
Like the age old saying,
“when a door closes
another one opens”.
But what happens when
these old things fall away
and you find yourself standing
in the middle of a cluttered room
with no doors?
Do you dig at the wallpaper
in search of a hidden door,
or do you just sit down quietly
and weep?
